"It is not often that a venue and its owners bend over backwards to accommodate one's every request to ensure that the wedding day runs smoothly. Add uncertainty because of Covid and various levels of lockdown and one has many more questions that needs answering. Our interaction with Charmaine started in Dec 2019 for the wedding to take place in July 2020. When lockdown came, we were refunded no questions asked. Now 13 months later we had our wedding and the level of assistance, service and friendliness from Charmaine and the owners of Welbeloond are unsurpassed. "I had my wedding at Welbeloond last weekend and they really did everything they could to make my day special and stress-free. So many changes later, it happened. After a year of postponing, the time had finally arrived. The first thing that drew me to them was that you are not obligated to make use of any of their caterers, decor, or anything else. The place is a beautiful, well-lit blank canvas ready for you to customize. I have no doubt that their recommendations are top-notch, but we were able to use the venue as we pleased bringing in family and friends with big and small businesses. The biggest help was that the owner was more than happy to open up and show whoever needed a peek the weeks leading up to the big day. DJ, Photographer, Caterer all went on their own on separate occasions but the bride (me) didn't have to make many trips. We were allowed to use the venue starting the day before which is rare. We managed to fit in a run-through as well as other prep and could stay until Sunday. What's more, is that the cottages on the property are stunning. Perfect for sleeping and getting amazing shots on the day of. I cannot recommend this place enough... if ever there were a second wedding, I know where to go. Thank You!"
